Navy & Gold Tipi Styled Shoot
An Autumn Tipi Wedding Styled Shoot
This exceptional Navy & Gold Meets Nature styled shoot was put together by a group of extremely talented and inspirational East Midlands Wedding specialists. In collaboration with Honeysuckle & Castle, the main objective was to launch outdoor wedding receptions on offer at the magnificent Hardwick Hall.
Built by Bess of Hardwick, this historic National Trust Elizabethan Palace is a hidden gem of a wedding venue. It is elegantly set within luscious acres of extensive parkland and fine gardens that overlook the rolling beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The atmospheric Great Entrance Hall is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships, followed by a magical outdoor reception fit for a Queen in the exclusive East Court Garden and quaint Wine Glass Meadow.
Our bride looked exquisite in an ivory lace, statement keyhole back gown from Lori G. This gown made a dramatic impact with its contouring cutouts, puddle train and fine bead work. Her hair looked perfect with loose pin curl waves, teamed with a soft smoky eye and pinched cheek blush by Tamla & Danielle Paskovas. The male model was dashing in a bespoke suit from Brigdens.
The captivating shots were produced by the delightful duo, Humpston and Bull. Their relaxed, creative style was exactly what we were looking for. The essence of the shoot was also captured in motion by the fabulously talented Jason Lynch.
The inspiration behind the styling and theme in the Tipis from Peaktipis was ‘magical starry skies’, but with a slight regal edge to keep a subtle connection to the grandeur location.
There was elegance and fabulosity in the boldness of the navy blue and gold colour palette which teamed perfectly with the warmth and magic from the beautifully twinkling Tipi fairy lights, flicker of candle light and star constellation elements.
For the table scape we wanted to stay simple with bold navy waterfall napkins from Executive Linen, gold chargers and cutlery, white plates, and elegant gold glassware, all from Whitehouse Event Crockery. Fine gold calligraphy, starry night themed place cards, invites and menu cards from Violet Skies set the tone to this magnificent shoot.
Beautiful drapes representing the night sky were the backdrop in the dance floor Tipi from Fabric Theatre.
We ran rich navy table runners from Pumpkin Events, teamed with lengths of lush eucalyptus and other foliage by Wild Thyme Florist & Styling down the centre of the rustic bench tables. Height was achieved on the tables with several large, tall vessels, full to the brim with a mix of crisp white floral’s and foliage. The Top table featured sparkling blue sequin cloth, along with the florals and foliage to give it the show-stopping wow factor. Wild Thyme hung an eclectic mix of stars throughout, as well as a hand crafted focal point in one of the peaks of the Tipis above the banquet style tables in the form of a large framed star constellation feature.
Lengths of rich blue and gold rag bunting from Tickety Boo Bunting lined the entrance to the Tipis as well as the Kungs chill-out Tipi to bring the presence of the theme and bold colour palette throughout.
An interesting array of zodiac inspired cakes and treats were baked and displayed by The Pink Cake Box, including a show-stopping four tier starry night creation.
Overall, this styled shoot really was: Majestic. Magnificent. Magical. We were thrilled to have this styled shoot featured on the coveted The English Wedding Blog also.
